Configuring Resource Visibility

Resource Visibility Policies decide what resources a user is allowed to request, in general or in a Slack modal. They can also determine which "resources" are actually people — who should show up in the people dropdown.

Filtering requestable resources

1. Sign in to your Indent Space.
2. Go to Admin → Policies in the sidebar.
3. Create a new Resource Visibility Policy.
   • Selector — use label selectors (equals, not equals, exists, does not exist) to filter — Fast
   • Condition Builder — use an expression language to evaluate conditions — Powerful
4. Click "Create" to save.

Filtering people resources

1. Sign in to your Indent Space.
2. Go to Admin → Policies in the sidebar.
3. Create a new Resource Visibility Policy.
   • Resource Policy → View — select "People" to apply this policy when searching for people
   • Selector — use label selectors (equals, not equals, exists, does not exist) to filter — Fast
   • Condition Builder — use an expression language to evaluate conditions — Powerful
4. Click "Create" to save.
