Build the coworker every company shares.

We tell customers to treat Indent like a coworker.

Indent is one shared coworker for a whole company. It runs a full development environment in the cloud, works in Slack, GitHub, and Linear, and everything anyone teaches it is there for everyone else. We are early, funded for years, and small enough that what you build ships to customers the same week.

How we work.

  • We build Indent with Indent

Code review, alert triage, data questions, and a share of our own commits go through the product. When something is annoying, we feel it first.

  • Ship every week

Small changes, real users, fast feedback. The changelog is public so the cadence is a commitment.

  • Evidence over opinion

Indent shows how it verified its work. We hold ourselves to the same standard: tests, transcripts, numbers.

  • Whole problems

You own a problem end to end: the customer conversation, the pull request, and what the changelog says about it.

Open roles.

To apply, email team@indent.com with what you've built.

  • Backend Engineer

    Engineering

The service behind every session: memory, integrations, billing, and the API the Mac app, Slack, and GitHub all talk to.

  • Systems Engineer

    Engineering

The computers Indent works on. Sandboxes built from customer repos, environment builds, browsers, and the networking that keeps secrets out of the model.

  • Frontend Engineer

    Engineering

The Mac app and app.indent.com: live sessions, transcripts, memory, and the review and automation surfaces the whole organization reads.

  • Head of Design

    Design

Own how a coworker looks and behaves across Slack, GitHub, the Mac app, and the web. First design leader; you set the bar and hire the team.

  • Designer

    Design

Product design end to end, from the interaction model of a session to the pixels in the transcript. You ship with engineers every week.
